Q:
Are the coaches for this soccer club any good?A: Although every coach has a different style and a different philosophy about sports/soccer there are a few "values" that are emphasized with all volunteer coaches in our league. These "values" are:
1. No lecture lines.
2. Make learning skills fun with games
3. Keep all of the kiddos engaged all of the time
4: Teach the 3 "F's" of soccer: Focus, Fun, and Fundamentals
5. Use the "Coaches Corner" on the WYSC Soccer webpage to learn coaching skills and games
6. If you want to get a coaching certification, OUR LEAGUE WILL PAY HALF OF IT.
Q:
Are there boys and girls teams or are the teams all coed?A: Our league strives to foster female athlete development. In order to propagate this philosophy we strive to have separate teams for boys and girls at levels U8 and above At this moment, our enrollment numbers only allow for coed teams in our league, but as we grow and more female athletes register, we will separate in divisions U8 and older.
